Research at the IT University
It is the goal of research at the IT University to enhance Denmark’s ability to create value with IT. For example, by creating the foundation for new ways of interaction, resource optimization, breakthroughs in digital culture, novel technologies and the theoretical foundation of IT.
The research strategy focuses on problems motivated both by the quest for new insight and consideration of use. This is achieved by emphasizing both international research collaboration and strong partnerships with external stakeholders.
PhD education is an important part of the research. The IT University attracts highly qualified PhD students from all over the world. These students work closely with the faculty on their research projects.
