Industrial PhD Student 



An Industrial PhD project is done in close collaboration with a private company. The project is conducted in cooperation between the private company, the Industrial PhD student and a university.

An industrial PhD is employed by the company that also pays a large part of the salary of the PhD student. Students interested in becoming industrial PhDs are encouraged to try to identify one or more companies that are prepared to employ the student as one of the first steps in preparing an application.

Requirements


Applicants for the Industrial PhD programme must hold a master’s degree or similar.
