SMV Activities
The SMV Activities (hereafter SMV) project aims to involve Small and Medium Danish and Chinese Companies in the ongoing research project called “Context-Sensitive Services Developed in Global Collaboration” (Genie project) granted by the Danish Council for Strategic Research. The Genie project has three lines of research of potential interest to SME partners: novel human-computer interaction methods, a prototype software architecture, and conceptual context models. Moreover, both the IT University and Peking University have in-door location tracking technology available in their buildings. This technology is potentially interesting to SMEs wishing to experiment with context-sensitive solutions. The SMV project envisions transferring results from these research lines to the development process of SMEs specialising in the construction of software services and giving them access to experiment on the aforementioned in-door location tracking technology.
