IT View

IT View is the digital TV channel of The IT University. On this site, we will publish features, lectures and interviews on current research subjects within the field of IT. With the use of motion pictures, we want to share the knowledge and insight that is produced at the university.

The programs are produced by the Communications Department at the IT University. We collaborate with different partners, one of them is DR (the Danish National Television). The programs are broadcast in the segment “Academy of the Danes” on afternoons at channel DR2. If you have comments, questions or suggestions, please contact the editorial team.

The first programs from The IT University were broadcast on DR in March 2010. The themes were eyetracking and ”serious games”.
IT research is a big and varied field, and very different stories can find their way to IT View.

Examples of future topics could be:

  • The narratology of facebook updates. What does Shakespeare have to do with Facebook?
  • Trustworthy computing. Will e-voting ever emerge in Denmark, and what does it take to make the public trust an IT system?
  • The mobile revolution. In which ways has the mobile phone changed our everyday life, our culture of meeting, our safety and adolescents rebellion against their parents?
  • Quality in IT. What does it take to make a public IT project succeed? And how can we produce software of a high quality?
