Denmarks youngest university
As a student you become part of Denmark's youngest university and part of a community of approx. 2,000 students, of whom one third are women and approximately one quarter are foreign students. You will thereby gain access to a wide range of facilities and events that will complement your professional life and make your time here unforgettable.
You are not alone
The IT University has tradition for a study environment in which not only the academic but also the social is in focus. When you start at the IT University, you will be welcomed by a team of advisors that inform you about your programme and take you on freshers' trip. Here you will get to learn your fellow students in a pleasant manner and perhaps form the first reading group.
All students have access to a kitchenette, where you can cook a meal or just make yourself and your friends a cup of coffee. You can spend a well earned break from your studies playing table tennis, work out in our fitness room or enjoy a drink and a discussion in our cosy student café, Analog, or the student bar, Scrollbar.
Inspiring environment
The university building is amongst the most modern and inspiring educational buildings in Denmark. Here is light, air and space to study. Our excellent study facilities provide you with workspace for group work or individual studies after classes.
As the IT University is a small university, and all courses are combined in the same building, you will automatically meet your fellow students after teaching, and you'll meet entrepreneurs from business on the 5th floor and students from other programmes.
Close to town
The IT University is located in Ørestad between DR City and the University of Copenhagen and only five minutes away from the city centre.
