Programme Start Autumn 2012
In week 34 Monday 20 August to Friday 24 August 2012 you will be invited to participate in our introduction programme for all new Bachelor and Master of Science students. The specific dates for the three-day introduction programme for BSc's and two-day programme for MSc's will be announced here as soon as possible.
The course period starts Monday 27 August 2012.
Introduction Days
During the introduction days you will be introduced to your new programme by the Head of your programme, who will introduce you to your new study programme. You will also meet the Student Advisors and and guest speakers, who will tell you more about the everyday life at the IT University as well as about rules, regulations and possibilities. You will also work with an academic project with your fellow students. In addition to this we will focus on creating a comfortable environment, giving you the opportunity to get to know you fellow students better.
The intro week ends with a party for all new students at the IT University hosted by the Study and Career Advisory Office.
The introductions days are designed to get you off to a good start and we are looking forward to welcoming you to the IT University of Copenhagen. You will receive the schedule for the introduction days with your start-of-semester letter in the second week of August.
Introduction weekend for BSc students
9.-12. september 2012 all new bachelor students are invited to participate in the yearly Introduction weekend ("Rustur" in Danish) where we will focus on students getting to know each other better and strengthen the study environment across study programmes.

Practical information
Access to IT systems and email
You will receive your username and PIN to the IT University's IT systems with your start-of-semester letter in the second week of January. Regretfully, we cannot grant you access to the systems and email before that.
