BSc in Digital Media and Design
Are you interested in digital media and communication? Would you like to design the mobile phone or social media of the future? Do you want to participate in creating the communication of tomorrow and perhaps work as a web or interaction designer, information architect, project coordinator or communications consultant?
Digital Media and Design is 3-year full time Bachelor's degree. The programme is taught mainly in Danish, but the second year (third and fourth semester) is taught in English due to collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. As an international student you can study for a semester or a full year during the 2nd year.
Social, Technical and practical
The Digital media and Design programme will give you insight into how new technology and media affect our lives and society, and you will learn how to design innovative solutions for different digital platforms and user needs. For instance, you will work with digital media as a tool for effective and professional communication and with ways to involve users in the development of new digital media concepts.
Theory and hands-on-experience
Teaching methods include lectures, group projects and practical exercises. At the IT University we value project work highly. It provides you with a good opportunity of shaping projects according to your own interests, applying the theory you have acquired in to practice and collaborating with external businesses and organisations.

Each term consists of a mix of courses and projects and projects. The bachelor electives make it possibble for you to choose two courses that are of special interest to you and explore related areas of IT: business, games and AI, IT in organisations or software development.
