Get the latest version of the software from http://itu.dk/~sgue/pelemele/pelemele-sepia.zip
Save and uncompress the .zip file to get an application file called pelemele.app.
Simply drag the PeleMele icon and drop it where you like (the Applications folder might be a good place).
A double-click on the PeleMele icon should start the application. Provided that a camera is connected to your machine and the appropriate driver is installed, you should then see yourself.
To connect two PeleMele through the local network, you need two computers connected to the same local network. Double-click on the PeleMele icon to start the application on each computer. You should then see yourself and other user connected on the local network
NB : You may need to delete the video files recorded on the ~/Desktop/pelemele/ folder before starting again the application (type rm ~/Desktop/pelemele/*.* in a console on each machine )
To interact with PeleMele, simply wave your hand on front of the camera. You can also use "T" Key and "D" key of the keyboard to change between TimeLine and the classical view. In TimeLine, up and down arrows change the depth time scale while left and right move the cursor in time.
For a detailed description of the interaction, see PeleMele, a video communication system supporting a variable degree of engagement.
