My name is Steven Houben and I currently live and work in Copenhagen.

I work on a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction at the Pervasive Interaction Technology Lab (pIT) at IT University of Copenhagen under supervision of Prof. Dr. Jakob Bardram.

My research interests lie on the intersection of human-computer interactionubiquitous computing and computer supported cooperative work and is focused towards the theory, design, construction and evaluation of activity-based computing (ABC) interfaces, systems and infrastructures that support real work practices. More general I am interested in (distributed) user interface technology, large public displays and mobile and nomadic computing.
