This website is the home of the Activity-based computing Project (ABC) done in the pIT lab at the IT University of Copenhagen. Activity - based computing is a new computing paradigm that supports both traditional desktop computing but also ubiquitous and pervasive computing and even wearable and tangible computing. Activity-based computing has emerged as a response to the traditional application- and file-centered computing paradigm, which is oblivious to a notion of a user task spanning heterogeneous devices, multiple applications, services, and information sources.
