Data as Relation: Governance in the Age of Big Data was a 3 year research project that began in 2017, supported by Denmark’s Velux Fonden.
Since the ETHOS Lab will be a primary environment for many of the involved researchers, the project is described in full here on the Lab’s website. I was be responsible for the theme Bodies of Data, under which the PhD student John Burnett researched the infrastructural and novel uses of health data in Denmark and in a comparative frame.
Collaborative publications from the project include A Bestiary of Digital Monsters, which I co-authored with many members of the team.
