Contents / Administrator Docs / Developer Docs / Index / AdminTool Contents

Note: Cipher Suites are only available in builds that include Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

The Choosing Cipher Suites page is used to choose cipher suites to enable in your server. The server chooses from enabled cipher suites when negotiating a secure connection to a client, making the choice based on which authentication schemes are enabled, and which enabled cipher suites the server and client have in common.

To enable a cipher suite, click on the box to the left of its name. To disable one, click again on the box to the left of the name. When you are ready to save your selection, click the save button. All cipher suites with checks in their boxes will be enabled.

NOTE: The Choosing Ciphers Suites page is only visible as a selection when you have chosen to manage the Secure Web Service.
