This document has the following sections:
The Log Outputs page allows you to view log contents, and manage their
display, in several different ways.
The Log Files Field
The Log Files field is used to select which log output you want to view.
Each service (Web, Proxy, and Secure Web) has its own set of the following
five log files:
- Access
 - Agent
 - Error
 - Event
 - Referer

For more information on the five log files listed above, see
Log Files.
The View Last Field
The View Last field allows you to specify how much of the log contents you
want to see. You can choose to display up to 5 KB (kilobytes) of data.
The default setting is 1 KB.
The Snapshot Field
The Snapshot Field is a toggle that allows you to take a snapshot of the
contents of the log you have chosen to view.
- If the toggle is off (unselected) - The contents in the field display
as they come in. If you have selected to view 1 KB of the last entries in
a log, as new entries come in the oldest entries in the log roll out.
 - If the toggle is on (selected) - The contents display when you select
the Start View button. If you have selected to view 1 KB of the last
entries in a log, after that no new entries show up, until you select the
Start View button again to take a new snapshot.

The Update Interval Field
The Update Interval field allows you to specify how often the Log Output
screen will update the content of the log you have chosen to view. You can
choose to update the log view every 1-15 seconds. The default is 5
seconds.
The Next Update Field
The Next Update field is a clock that graphically shows how often your log
view is being dynamically updated. This clock only runs if you have the
Snapshot field unselected; if you have selected the Snapshot field, your
log view will only be updated the next time you take a snapshot.
The Word Wrap Field
The Word Wrap field is a toggle that allows you to select how you want your
log entries to be displayed.
- If the toggle is on (selected) - Each entry breaks and "wraps" to the
next line.
 - If the toggle is off (unselected) - Each log entry displays as a single
line.

NOTE: Enlarging the Java Web Server window also enlarges the log output
field.
Buttons

To make changes to the Log Output page and have those settings take affect,
use the three buttons at the bottom of the screen. These are:
- Start/Restart View - Begins listing log entries. Any change
made to any of the Log Output fields does not take affect until you have
clicked on Start or Restart View.
 - Stop View - Stops the display of log entries.
 - Clear - Removes all the entries in the log output window and
leaves it blank.
