Aarhus Design Project

Sunday 15/8
The official program starts Sunday at 17.30 where we all gather at the youth hostel. Depending on the weather we may stop by the beach, and from there we walk to my house for dinner. Some of the Danes may want to join us there directly. We should be there from 19.15.

Monday 16/8
We meet in Aabogade 34, Ada 333 (which we have as our base throughout).
9.00-12.30: presentation of the student projects, and initial feedback
12.30 Lunch
13.30-14:30 Liam Bannon talk: Approaching Culture(s): Myths & Realities on the “culture” trail - including HCI!
14:30-14:45 Pause
14.45-15.45 Paul Dourish talk: The Commodification of Location: Privacy, Power, and Location-Based Systems
15.45-16.45 Each student group get advice from teachers from the other departments.
Monday evening: Pizza and work for the students. Alternative arrangement for teachers.

Tuesday 17/8
9.00- more work on the afternoon presentations and open house
14.00-17.00 Final presentations of student projects
17.00-18.00 Arrangement of room for open house
18.00-20.00 Presentation to DIS participants as part of the open house at IT-City Katrinebjerg.
20.00 Dinner in Ada 333

Wednesday 18/8
Departure
